GESAMT project by Lars Von Trier
Copenhagen Art Festival, with the visionary filmmaker Lars von Trier as the producer, curated a video installation across four screens. The footage for this project was meticulously selected through an open call, featuring excerpts from Takeshi Furuya's creations, namely “Lens 2 Lens” and “Na(u)ked Lights”.

"Even though the work is painful and alienated, it also contains hope. There is always hope. I think there is something beautiful in the fact that people stand up against the pain and cowardice that we have inside us. There were also many beautiful, sublime and romantic bits, which expressed a continued desire for the ideal and the ultimate beauty," - Jenle Hollund -

“TRANSITION“ Video x Dance x Music Performance in AUSTRIA
Live Performance at Zotter Factry Austria : Takeshi Furuya (LiveVideo) - Sonja Rosbergen (Choreograph) - Sassi Krampl (Bass)
" Where pain communicates with hope, Takeshi's photos add lines to the action, extensive color stripes. "
- Summary of “Global Prayer” Magazine article by author Ruud Van Weerdenburg-
The performance "Transition" by Japanese artist Takeshi Fujiya is a poignant exploration of the human experience, weaving together dance, music, and video to create a lasting thread of emotion.
Fujiya's photographs, inspired by the controlled space between a soccer player's kick and ankle twist, add a layer of depth and color to the performance.
Sonja Rossenberg's dance is a captivating blend of fluidity, radiance, and unspeakable tremors, revealing the rawness of human emotion.
The bass guitar, like oysters and clams, adds a rich palette of colors to the performance.
The performance remains unfinished and unreleased, as it is a constant interplay of music, dance, videography, and simultaneous projection.
Rossenberg and Fujiya view "Transition" as a period of creation, a handshake with the camera.
The performance is an invitation to experience the depths of the ocean while standing on the shore, similar to the "Ghost of a Flea" by William Blake.
"Transition" was performed only once at St. Andrew's Church, where the gold interior created a Rembrandt-esque atmosphere.
